Dr. Diana Hehenberger-Risse Professor of Energy Efficiency at Landshut University of Applied Sciences since 2015, is an expert in the fields of sustainability, energy efficiency, energy, environmental and sustainability management. She completed her doctorate from 2009-2013 at LeuphanaLüneburg with the Federal Environment Agency and developed a sustainability assessment system for energy supply systems. From 2003-2015, she built up the energy division in the KEWOG Group with a focus on energy contracting, energy saving concepts, municipal utility and operator models and was a member of the management board. From 2011-2015, she was also Managing Director of the KEWOG subsidiary ZREU GmbH - planning, project development, subsidy consulting, creation of energy utilization plans/climate protection concepts. From 2012-2015, she developed an inter-municipal model with citizen participation for the construction and operation of wind turbines for Windenergie Landkreis Tirschenreuth GmbH & Co. KG.
