Dr Jun Luo, Professor at Sichuan University and Director of the Institute of Urbanization Strategy and Architecture Research, Sichuan University. Member of the Expert Committee of CABEE.
With over 30-year working experiences in the UK, North America and China, he has led and participated in numerous large-scale urban complexes, airports, sports facilities, residential developments projects include Beijing 2008 Olympics National Aquatics Center, the National Stadium, and Beijing Capital Airport T3. Recently he won the international design competition for Meishan Three Su's Hometown Cultural Tourism Area Planning and Design Project. His research areas include urbanization and rural construction strategy and theory, large-scale public facilities intelligent control and technology, green and low-carbon cities and buildings, as well as the development of advanced high-performance green building components and prefabricated building systems for high-strength earthquake zones. He frequently serves as adviser to government departments and large enterprises, providing them with strategic consulting and planning services, participating in numerous national and provincial large-scale infrastructure, architectural and planning projects evaluations and appraisal.
